New membership Fees and Visitor Fees

Normal badminton season coming to the end on Sunday of 28/03/2009 and Summer Club will be started after that. We are welcome new summer club members and visitors. Please spread the news about this NCBC Club and recruit good players to the club.
For your information about NCBC summer club will be started from 02/04/2010 to 24/09/2010 in total 26 weeks of every Friday night = 26 sessions. Friday 7.30pm to 10.00pm, summer club membership and visitor fees as listed below:-
1. Summer Club Membership £80.00 (26 sessions x £5.00 = £130.00 = SAVE £50.00)
2. Normal Visitor £5.00 per session and
3. Student visitor £4.00 per session
Important Notes to All Members and Visitors:
· The club have to control usage and wastage of expensive feather shuttlecocks (£13.50 a tube/dozen). If any visitor’s excessive use of feather shuttlecocks with not reasonable changing shuttlecock with minor damage, the club with the right of charge those visitors extra cost in according to shuttlecock price.
· Club rules, if you required to changed shuttlecock, have to bring back the damage (old) shuttlecock to administrator desk (under the club notice board) and the administrator will give you a new one.
· Also when you finish the game have to bring back the damage or still good condition shuttlecock to administrator desk for next game.
· For those members or visitors sometime stay late for a few more games which beyond the club official time 10.30pm, the club will Not responsible for using the badminton courts and shuttlecocks, this is your own responsibilities & liabilities.
· If any members or visitors wanted to use the sport hall shower facilities after 10.30pm, have to remember switch off the lights, heater etc.

Club Season info 2009-2010

For those of you interested to join NCBC Badminton Club for the New Season. Please pay your membership subscription fees to Angela (Treasurer) before 09/10/09. By this hopefully every member pay their on time so that could cut down Angela and management committee’s time keep asking for the membership fees.
NCBC Summer Club will be end on Friday of 25/09/09
New Badminton Season will be started on Friday of 2/10/09
Visitors are allow 3 Sessions (3 visits), then you decide to join the Club or not, and subject to Club Management Committee’s Approval.
NCBC Membership Fees from 01/10/2009 to 31/03/2010 are:-
Standard Adult member fees: £80.00
Student member fees: £65.00 (have to be full time student)
Visitors: £5.00 per visit
Student visitors: £4.00 per visit (have to be full time student)
Friday night is Club Night and Sunday priority for Northumberland League Matches

Club Information

We are playing at gibson sport center in the town on friday from 8.00pm to 10.00pm and sunday evening 7.30pm ~ 10.00pm. We are affiliated to the Northumberland Badminton Association, and at present we have 2 teams (1 mens doubles and 1 mixed doubles) in the Northumberland League. Visitors are welcome, and students discount is available. The fee is 3.50GBP per night and 3.00GBP for students.

NCBC Badminton Club annual general meeting (AGM)

On behalf NCBC Badminton Club, we are very much appreciated for your time attended the annual general meeting (AGM) which held at Gibson street, Sport Centre last Sunday 7.30pm 20th July 2008. We are delighted to announce that the Club finally has elected Management Committee for the season of 2008/09 (September to September) consists of following:-
· Chairman: Ricky Kong
· Secretary: Qun Li
· Club Captain: Hou Liang
· Match Secretary: Jay Zhu
· Treasurer: Dai Jun
· Website Admin: Wang Zhen
· Club Coordinator: Angela Tung
We are confirmed that put two teams play in Northumberland Badminton League Mix and Men Double. We are also considering put ladies double play in the league, but no final decision yet by management committee’s, because we don’t have ladies to taking part currently. Please let Li Qun, Hou Liang, Jay Chu or me know that if you are keen to taking for the league matches especially ladies double.
The Northumberland badminton league matches will be held from October 2008 to March 2009 for this coming season. There is home and away matches. Hou Liang is the club captain, he will lead the home and away matches, men double will assist by Elvin Choy and mixed double will assist by Goff.
